Moon chart what it represents
In Vedic astrology, the Moon chart, also known as the Chandra Lagna chart or the Chandra Kundli, is another essential component used for astrological analysis. While the Ascendant chart (Lagna chart) is based on the position of the Ascendant at the time of birth, the Moon chart focuses on the placement of the Moon in the zodiac signs and houses.
- Moon Sign (Rashi): The Moon sign is the zodiac sign in which the Moon was positioned at the time of birth. It influences the emotional nature, instincts, and subconscious tendencies of an individual.
- Moon's Placement in Houses: Similar to the Ascendant chart, the Moon chart also consists of twelve houses, each representing specific areas of life. The placement of the Moon in these houses provides insights into emotional patterns, family dynamics, and inner security.
- Planetary Aspects to the Moon: The aspects of other planets to the Moon are considered in the Moon chart analysis. These aspects influence emotional experiences, relationships with family members, and psychological tendencies.
- Yogas and Doshas: Certain planetary combinations and alignments involving the Moon, known as Yogas, are significant in the Moon chart analysis. These Yogas can indicate specific strengths or challenges in emotional well-being and family life. Doshas (afflictions) related to the Moon, such as Kemadruma Dosha, are also considered.
- Nakshatra: The Nakshatra (lunar constellation) occupied by the Moon at birth is an essential factor in the Moon chart interpretation. Each Nakshatra has its unique qualities and themes, influencing the emotional temperament and inner psyche of an individual.
