Vedic Jyotish Series

In Vedic Jyotish, there are nine main celestial bodies, referred to as “Planets / “Grehas”, “Navagrehas,” which are considered significant in influencing human lives.
Vedic Jyotish Planets
- Surya (Sun): Represents vitality, ego, authority, father, and government. It's associated with the zodiac sign Leo.
- Chandra (Moon): Signifies emotions, mind, mother, nourishment, and intuition. It's associated with the zodiac sign Cancer.
- Mangala (Mars): Governs energy, action, courage, aggression, and conflicts. It's associated with the zodiac signs Aries and Scorpio.
- Budha (Mercury): Rules intellect, communication, commerce, learning, and adaptability. It's associated with the zodiac signs Gemini and Virgo.
- Guru (Jupiter): Represents wisdom, expansion, knowledge, abundance, and spirituality. It's associated with the zodiac signs Sagittarius and Pisces.
- Shukra (Venus): Governs love, relationships, beauty, creativity, and pleasure. It's associated with the zodiac signs Taurus and Libra.
- Shani (Saturn): Signifies discipline, responsibility, hard work, limitations, and karma. It's associated with the zodiac signs Capricorn and Aquarius.
- Rahu (North Lunar Node): Represents desires, obsessions, worldly pursuits, and unconventional behavior.
- Ketu (South Lunar Node): Signifies spirituality, detachment, liberation, and past-life influences.
These Planets/Grehas/Navagrehas are believed to influence various aspects of life and are analyzed in depth in Vedic astrology charts to provide insights and predictions about an individual’s destiny, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and life events. Additionally, the movements and placements of these planets relative to each other and to the individual’s birth chart are considered significant in determining the timing of events and periods of influence.
